Advent ~ BookClub

Well, you may be asking “Why are you posting another book for BookClub this month?” You are not asking a bad question, I think it is important to remember what Christmas is all about. So we are going to be doing an Advent devotional study!!! I’m SO EXCITED to be doing this book with you all! My dear friend B.J. Lawson wrote this advent devotional, and I’m so excited that we will be doing it together!

Also, don’t panic we are not starting it now, but I wanted to make sure you have the ability to order it before advent starts ~ which is Sunday November 26th 2023!

Since before creation, God has had a plan. From the fall of man, God prepared His people for the coming of His son, our hope. We are a people of promise. We celebrate the realization of God’s promises of rescue and redemption during the busy Christmas season. For four weeks, we will step back and remember the thousands of years God’s people were anticipating the coming of God’s salvation plan, Jesus. That’s what Advent means, “coming” or “arrival” They were waiting but had no idea who the rescuer was or when He would come on the scene. In Hope is Born, we focus daily on remembering that God did what He said He would do so as not to be distracted by the glitter of the season.
