Week 1 Reading Through The Bible In A Year!

This year my church is reading through the Bible in a year. The ONE YEAR Bible is what you can buy and just follow that daily. I enjoy those Bibles however I used the NLT last year and desire to read through the whole of NKJV this year. So I’m changing this up a little from the One Year plan. Which is why I’m writing it out for you if you desire to follow what I’m doing too! You won’t need a fancy Bible to follow along with us. I will post each weeks reading for the next 52 Mondays.

Where the change will come into play is in Proverbs and Psalms as you will end up reading through the book of Proverbs twelve times and the book of Psalms twice. I think it fitting as Proverbs and Psalms are both books filled with God’s wisdom and reminders that He is our sanctuary. Which I think will need to remember and fortify ourselves with that knowledge and understanding “for such a time as this.”

I highly recommend you pray before opening God’s Word. He is the author and loves to teach us actively when we invite Him. Let this be a time where He renews our minds and hearts to be more like Him in all things!
